Yes, that should be possible. I recommend checking which kind of cards others uses with Raspberry PI.

Can that be done, using USB IO card? I written the application in Mono and running inside the NordicID AR model. Totally no PC.

Hi,

 

No, that's not possible because the optocoupler inside only works in one direction. Perhaps you have to use IO-card that you can connect to the USB port.

May I know it's possible to change all the GPIO pins into output pins? I've used up the 4 output pins. Need additional output.
